My race is almost run, and the time is near, for me to go
I love you so much, please, please stay near
This is all new to me, and there is so much to fear
Please hold me close, I need your touch
The night draws dark, and I need you so much
I’ll fight as long as I can, I don’t want to go
But I’ve been so sick, of this you know
You did everything you could, to make me well
