Well Carolynn...It's been 11 years since you died, but I still miss you every day. I'll be writing here every year in tribute to you and our memories. I'm still married to Vicki. You missed our 40th class reunion. It was quite a big deal! I was one of the planners. Do you remember Bruce Black from up the street? He and I got together and are friends now. Isn't that funny? I did a very sweet memorial for those of our class who are missing, and I featured you prominently in color. I sure wish I had more pictures of you, though, or even better some video. I'll write you next February, Carolynn. I know you are safe and well, wherever you are. You were such a wonderful person.

Friend and Lover

This month is the 6th anniversary of your death, Carolynn. I heard a version of "Strange Magic" the other day. It was nice, and it brought me back to the day we were at my house listening to that Vinyl LP on the console stereo at my house. It must have been 1977, I remember it was in May or so. I told you that it was your song because you had a "Strange Magic." Later we just shortened that to "Magic." Rest well, Magic. I'm still teaching, and still listening to music. I wish I had someone to share it with... I still love you forever.

Friend and Lover

Today is the 5th anniversary of your death Carolynn. I thought that maybe it wouldn't hurt quite so much after five years, but I still feel the pain just as sharply. I tried to get out some of your letters from high school to reread, but that is far too torturous for me this year. I wish you could have seen me teaching high school, Carol, you would have loved it. I hope you are happy and watching over me, Magic. I love you still and I'll remember you forever.

Well today is the 4th anniversary of your death Carolynn. I promise myself to write here every year until I die. I really miss you, especially when I hear new music that I know you would have liked. We always had that together, a love of music. Rest well, baby, I remember you today.
