Wife and Soulmate
As most know, today Jim would've turned 51. It doesn't seem like a whole year since we celebrated Jim and Mark turning 50 with a party and music here at the house. A typical birthday for Jim....breakfast in bed, notes and messages throughout the day, a special dinner of his choice and gifts, usually to do with music, fishing or outdoor gear. Although Jim would say,"seriously babe, I really don't want anything", he'd spend the week before his birthday trying to get me to slip up and tell him what he was getting. Those memories make me smile. This is truly a difficult day for all of us as it was not a shared holiday, it was Jim's day. I loved making it all about him. I'm praying for peace for his mom and the rest of his family and friends as we struggle through this day. When you're sitting at dinner tonite, whether you're drinking water or wine, raise a glass to Jim and wish him Happy Birthday. I know that's what we'll be doing.
Happy Birthday my Jimmy. You are so missed and loved.
It Is....
