Dad enjoyed his term as vice-principal at Woodrow Wilson High School. Sometimes he would bring one of us primary schoolers along when he to check after-school activiites. I remember one story repeated a few times when he found two boys who wanted to fight. He gave them both some oversized padded boxing gloves and took them to a room and let them have at it. They couldn't hurt each other though they tried. Soon they were completely exhausted and forgot why they needed to fight.
