When I had to put down my first dog, Joe, I can recall coming home from work on the subway which ran along the Kennedy Expressway and seeing a vision of Joe running in the grass along the side. I think it was God's way of telling me that there is a place in heaven for all the people we love and also our pets who are more than pets but friends. Cy is running too.

I believe living beings find each other for a reason. It's what keeps peace in the world. The need for each other is just understood between the two. Cy was saved and he knew it and he gave even more back to his family then most humans can understand. It's not the first or last breath we take that matters, it's the the amazing one's in between we get to share with someone we love.
